Individual Handicap Knockout Tournament

The Braintree District Badminton League Finals nights took place over three nights with the Semi-Finals, along with the finals of the Plate and Restricted Tournaments on Wednesday 26th March and Wednesday 23rd April 2014 and the main Finals themselves on Friday 25th April, all at the Earls Colne Recreational Club. Everyone who attended were treated to some excellent badminton throughout the evenings. Trophies were presented to the Winners on Finals night by our Tournament Secretary, Therese Hutton. |

Presentation of Trophies |
The trophies are presented tonight by Therese Hutton. As most of you know, Therese is the stalwart of the tournament organising committee and without her the events would not take place. As well as this, she also performs the key task of providing nibbles and drinks at the meetings - without this incentive most of us wouldn't turn up!! Therese has only just begun to play again recently due to a foot operation, but next season we are hoping to see her put her 'new' foot forward and 'speeding' around the court again. |
